Hi, my name is Mayra Sanchez. I am a bilingual psychotherapist and licensed professional counselor, independently licensed in the state of Texas (LPC License # 64302). I have been practicing psychotherapy / counseling since graduating in 2006 with my Master’s in Rehabilitative Counseling. I have provided mental health evaluations and therapy for hundreds of individuals, struggling with a wide range of psychiatric disorders, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, as well as issues related to domestic violence, life changes, parenting issues, relationship concerns, stress, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, separation from loved ones and dislocation due to migration. I have also done work assessing children’s attachments to their parents, as well as the impact on children of parental separation. I have completed advanced levels of training with the Immigration Evaluation Training Center that allows me to provide Immigration Evaluations for Asylum, VAWA, and Hardship cases.
